Use Directories.ai with Claude Cowork
Manage your directory content, analyze performance, and create marketing materials using Claude Cowork's file-based workflow—no coding required.
What is Claude Cowork?
Claude Cowork is a feature in the Claude Desktop app that turns Claude into an autonomous virtual co-worker. Instead of chatting back and forth, you assign Claude a folder and a task, and it works independently—reading, creating, and organizing files on your computer.
Combined with Directories.ai's MCP connector, Cowork can manage your directory data through natural, file-based workflows.
How It Works
1. Set Up Your Workspace
Create a folder like ~/my-directory/ and point Claude Cowork at it. Add the Directories.ai MCP connector in Claude Desktop settings.
2. Give Claude a Task
Tell Claude what you want done. For example: "Export all listings from my directory, identify any with missing descriptions, and write new descriptions for them. Save a report of changes."
3. Claude Works Autonomously
Claude connects to your directory via MCP, pulls data, works through the task, and saves results to your folder. You review and approve the changes.
Perfect For
Content Managers
"Review all listings updated more than 6 months ago and refresh their descriptions with current information."
Business Owners
"Create a weekly report of my directory's top-performing listings and suggest 5 new categories to add."
Marketers
"Generate 10 social media posts promoting our top-rated listings. Save them as a content calendar spreadsheet."
