The Tasks page is where you tell your directory's agent what to do — once, or on a repeating schedule — and where you see what it's already done.
The board
Tasks move through columns: scheduled (queued for a future run), todo (ready now), in progress (an agent has claimed it), needs you (the agent hit a question only you can answer), done, failed, and cancelled. A task left in progress for two hours automatically returns to To do, so a dropped connection never leaves work silently stuck.
Creating a recurring task
When you create a task, set a repeat_interval of day, week, or month. Once a run completes, the next one is queued automatically — a weekly "check for new businesses matching our categories" task keeps firing every week without you touching it again.
What "Run now" does
If a task is sitting in To do and you don't want to open your own AI client, "Run now" hands it to a managed agent running on your own Anthropic key, through the exact same MCP server your own client would use. Same tools, same scoping, same activity log — just triggered from the dashboard instead of a chat window.
Reading "needs you"
This column is where an agent parks genuine judgment calls — is a discovered business actually in scope, does a claim request look legitimate. Treat it like a real inbox: the faster you answer, the faster the task resumes instead of sitting idle.
A starter schedule worth copying
Three recurring tasks, set up once, cover most of what keeps a directory from going stale between visits.
